See you in 2010?

Hi everyone. Thanks for your good wishes regarding my health. It seems fate has dealt me an ironic blow. Things are pointing to me having Celiac Disease which means that, if true, I'll never be able to eat gluten again. Know what that means? Nothing with flour, rye or barley! Not great for a Sugarplum Fairy such as myself.

I'll be getting a diagnosis (I hope) in the next few weeks.

However, our family is moving for 14 months to Waterloo, Ontario and so the business will not be in operation again until Fall 2010.

I do hope that some of you come back and think of ordering from me then. And, in line with my new sympathies for those of the Celiac persuasion, I will be offering a complete line of gluten-free baking. I plan to spend the next year doing research. Lots and lots of research (and taste-testing!).

Business suspended for the moment

Hi everyone. Due to my own health issues recently, I'm having to suspend the business until further notice. I'll be having tests done shortly I hope that will indicate what is going on with me and lead to me feeling better soon.

Andrea did a beautiful job with the photos.... again! The woman has supreme talent with a camera and a great eye for food photography. Some of what she has done is on the sidebar to the left. These are the spring recipes that I'll be offering. A list of prices and combinations will (hopefully!) be up by the end of day tomorrow.

New offerings, new photos

I decided to forgo the Valentine's season and really concentrate on getting things together for the spring season: Easter, Mother's Day and Father's Day.

This morning I dropped off a range of yummies to Andrea who is taking photos at this very moment. By the end of the weekend, I'll have some up here and prices and listings to go with it.

So far you can expect to see:

Gearing up for Valentines and Easter

After a very busy Christmas, I'm back to the kitchen. Watch this space in the next two weeks for my Valentine's and Easter offerings. If you have suggestions of things you would personally like to see, please feel free to drop me an email.

I want to sincerely thank everyone for your overwhelming support, interest and, of course, orders. In fact, I've had so much interest that as of now I will not be accepting anymore orders before Christmas (unless they are very small). I apologize if anyone is left disappointed.
